What about Charlotte is written and directed by Marie-Louise Masreliez. Marie-Louise was graduated from the University of Circus and Dance in Stockholm 2008 and has since then established a portfolio of work as an artistic director focusing on new ways of creating narrative within circus.
Behind this circus piece lies profound research into the relations between the artist and the discipline - what the artist chose to bring into the process, the collaboration between the artists and the significance of the space in an attempt to understand presence of the artist in front of an audience. The circus itself withholds stories interesting enough to bring on to a stage and the project is searching for the natural dramaturgy in the movement and the discipline.The audience get to explore the inner core of a circus artists mind and the connecting link to the discipline.
